Jane McDonald ‘Let the Light In’ Tour 2022

Hi everyone,

If you’ve been following my recent social media posts you’ll know that I returned for the final six shows on Jane McDonald’s ‘Let the Light in’ 2022 Tour last week, which included my full show return at a sold out Alexandra theatre in Birmingham - an incredibly special night and one that was quite emotional and poignant for me - a real milestone in my recovery.

I want to thank everyone that has been in touch over these last five months via Instagram, email, twitter and here at the website. The comments of support, encouragement and positivity have been inspiring and a great help. My return to stage felt fantastic and I was given an incredibly warm welcome back from Jane, my bandmates, the crew and the many fans in attendance. I really appreciate it. The prognosis looks good moving forward, I’m cancer free and getting stronger every day. Onwards and upwards.

This Autumn brings further new challenges and is also an exciting time as I step away from my role at the University of Wolverhampton. I do however remain a committed music educator and will be do a range of teaching including, for the first time, the opportunity to study with me directly and I will be offering in-person, online and subscription based services.
